Job description
Position Overview
The Board Developer role entails comprehending regional requirements related to the Price Management Tool and Sales Planning & Forecasting systems. The developer is responsible for building and enhancing solutions within these applications using the Board platform.
Key Duties
- Analyze and interpret client requirements gathered during the Board scoping and analysis phases.
- Convert business demands into technical implementations and enhancements within Board.
- Create and refine Board capsules, procedures, and data models that reflect business logic and meet performance goals.
- Enhance existing functionalities and introduce new features to boost efficiency and improve user satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and Data Engineers to ensure smooth integration across data sources, models, and end-user applications.
- Assist with solution testing alongside Quality Assurance teams to verify technical and functional compliance.
- Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and help with deployment activities to ensure seamless production migration.
- Offer timely and constructive feedback and progress reports to Project Managers, Business Partners, and team members.
- Keep abreast of latest Board platform advancements and best practices to enhance solution quality.
- Maintain and support existing Board-based solutions to ensure continued functionality.
Required Experience and Skills
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years professional experience with the Board platform is necessary.
Compensation
The salary for this role ranges between CAD 77,000 to CAD 120,000 annually.
