Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Blaster to operate automated blast systems and hand-held grit blasting tools, conditioning both interior and exterior surfaces of products to prepare them adequately for coating processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare parts ahead of blasting and carry out grit blasting to meet precise specifications.
• Handle the preparatory cleaning and treatment of metal surfaces for blasting and painting operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of blasting equipment to ensure operational readiness.

Candidate Requirements

• A dependable work ethic combined with a positive, professional attitude.
• Consistently punctual attendance adhering to scheduled shifts.
• Capable of working a minimum of 8 hours per day, five days per week with the flexibility for overtime and occasional weekend shifts during peak times.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
• Strong teamwork skills, collaborating well with colleagues within and outside the organization.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions carefully.
• Mechanical aptitude, keen attention to detail, and solid problem-solving abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screening, and respirator fit testing.
• Previous blaster experience and forklift operation are advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience.

Work Schedule & Additional Information

• 8-hour shifts with overtime and weekend availability as needed.
