Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections at assigned hospitals every three months.
• Evaluate medical equipment to confirm proper operation, safety standards, and overall condition.
• Perform preventive upkeep and minor corrective repairs as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems efficiently.
• Respond to service complaints promptly and coordinate resolutions with internal teams.
• Maintain detailed service documentation including maintenance records, checklists, and equipment history.
• Ensure all equipment complies with manufacturer specifications and standards.
• Engage professionally and coordinate with hospital biomedical staff, doctors, nurses, and technicians.
• Provide basic user training and guidance on equipment operation to hospital personnel where required.
• Foster constructive working relationships with hospital and consignee teams.
• Gather feedback on equipment performance and service needs from hospital staff.
• Identify needs for maintenance, spare parts, repairs, or replacements and report these promptly.
• Follow up on all pending service matters to ensure timely closure.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and service partners for specialized technical support as necessary.
• Maintain an organized schedule of hospital visits, ensuring timely completion of all periodic checks.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive reports after each hospital visit.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, demonstration, and handover processes for new medical equipment as needed.
• Exemplify professional conduct representing M.V. Meditech positively across hospital sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Sound understanding of medical and biomedical equipment technicalities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills enabling collaboration with medical and technical staff.
• Good documentation and reporting abilities.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel.
• Capability to independently organize and manage regular hospital visits.
• Willingness and ability to travel across Pune and Maharashtra locations.
• Education: Preferred B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering; Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related technical fields also considered based on experience.

Experience

Candidates with 0 to 2 years' experience in biomedical equipment servicing or maintenance are preferred. Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and readiness to travel are also welcome to apply.

Candidate Profile and Additional Information

The ideal applicant will be technically proficient, responsible, courteous, and comfortable working within hospital environments, demonstrating a service-oriented mindset. Regular travel to various hospital and consignee sites is required.

Salary

The monthly salary range is INR 30,000 to INR 45,000, dependent on experience and prevailing industry standards.
