About The Role

Alignerr seeks individuals with a Masters degree or current enrollment in Biology or related life science fields like Biotechnology and Biochemistry to assist with training and assessing advanced AI models. This role involves using expert biological knowledge to enhance AI systems designed to tackle complex scientific challenges. Prior experience with AI is not necessary; what matters most is a deep understanding of biology and strong analytical abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate complex and challenging biology questions aimed at testing AI model capabilities.
• Create detailed, stepwise solutions that embody rigorous scientific logic and biological principles.
• Critically analyze AI-generated responses for correctness, reasoning, and biological insight.
• Engage with research teams to develop evaluation criteria covering biology topics from undergraduate to Masters level.
• Deliver comprehensive written assessments that guide continuous improvement of AI model outputs.

Candidate Profile

• Currently enrolled in or graduated with a Masters in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or closely allied disciplines.
• Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning within complex biological concepts.
• Capable of articulating sophisticated scientific ideas clearly and succinctly in writing.
• Detail-focused, self-directed, and efficient in independent work environments.
• No requirement for previous AI or machine learning experience.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data annotation, quality control, or peer-review processes in scientific settings.
• Understanding of large language models or AI evaluation protocols.
