Job Overview

We are seeking a Biology Expert to join our team on a contract basis, working remotely to support AI development in the biological domain. The role focuses on critical evaluation and enhancement of biology-related data and content utilized in AI workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide thorough critique and detailed input on biological data, prompts, and content involved in AI system development.
• Develop, assess, and improve scientific scenarios, questions, and explanations that address complex biological issues in real-world contexts.
• Deliver expert insights to ensure AI training datasets and outputs maintain scientific precision, relevance, and depth.
• Work collaboratively with platform teams to resolve ambiguities and improve the quality, coverage, and representation of biology-specific data.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of methodologies, findings, and rationales to support project transparency and reproducibility.
• Participate actively in review cycles and ongoing assessments to refine AI capabilities related to biology.
• Engage in knowledge exchange sessions with interdisciplinary professionals to enrich project outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate (PhD) in biology or a closely related life science field.
• Strong mastery of fundamental biological concepts with the ability to simplify complex topics for various audiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey scientific feedback and reasoning.
• Experience in analyzing scientific data, critically reviewing research, and synthesizing complex biological information.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and consistently deliver superior quality work within project timelines.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary scientific or technological projects, with AI exposure considered a plus but not mandatory.
