BIM & Technical Engineer

Company Overview and Locations

Advanced Construction Company (ACC) operates major fast-track projects in Saudi Arabia, seeking experienced engineers to join multidisciplinary teams primarily in Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines. Positions are available in both Jeddah and Riyadh, with priority given to Saudi nationals and candidates able to start immediately or with short notice.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate Building Information Models (BIM) and construction shop drawings relevant to their discipline.
• Analyze IFC drawings, project specifications, and technical requirements to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct clash detections and coordinate multiple disciplines to resolve conflicts within models.
• Generate detailed reports such as clash reports, coordination summaries, QA/QC model evaluations, and tracking logs for issues.
• Review material submittals and technical datasheets while verifying vendor information.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of engineering materials and ensure that approved materials are reflected accurately in models and drawings.
• Collaborate closely with BIM teams, engineering departments, site management, and project managers to maintain smooth project workflows.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and address coordination feedback clearly and effectively.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum of five years of practical experience in related engineering roles.
• Current residency in Saudi Arabia is mandatory.
• Preference to applicants available for immediate or short-notice joining.
• Expertise in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Demonstrated background in BIM coordination, managing clashes, and producing shop drawings.
• Experience as a BIM or Technical Coordinator, or in similar multidisciplinary roles, is advantageous.
• Solid technical knowledge specific to the applicant’s engineering discipline.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Strong skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
• Ability to work collaboratively within teams and maintain effectiveness on accelerated project schedules.
• Willingness to work six days weekly in either Jeddah or Riyadh.
• Successful completion of ACC’s practical technical evaluation.
