Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position in Coimbatore requires a BIM Modeller specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF). The individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining precise BIM models reflecting MEPF systems in harmony with architectural and structural frameworks. Key tasks include interpreting construction plans, generating coordinated three-dimensional models, revising design documentation, and aiding in design coordination and clash detection efforts. The role demands active collaboration with architects, engineers, and project managers to uphold modeling standards, guarantee data accuracy, and facilitate efficient information exchange throughout the project phases. Preparation of model-based reports and visual representations to aid digital project and asset management is also expected.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong proficiency with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and authoring tools used for MEPF design.
• Knowledge of architectural integration and ability to synchronize MEPF models with architectural and structural schemes.
• Experienced in interpreting design intents and creating precise 3D BIM models.
• Expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, including relevant design regulations and construction methodologies.
• Ability to read and prepare detailed construction drawings and related documentation.
• Familiarity with clash detection methodologies, coordination workflows, and Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving aptitude, and team collaboration skills within multidisciplinary environments.
• Preferred educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related domains; prior hands-on experience with BIM MEPF projects is advantageous.
