Role Overview

The full-time BIM Engineer position is based in Doha, Qatar, requiring on-site presence. This role involves developing, coordinating, and managing BIM models integrating architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines throughout all project phases. Core duties include interpreting construction drawings, verifying model accuracy, identifying and resolving clashes, and assisting design teams with comprehensive data models and related documentation.

The incumbent will work closely with architects, civil engineers, project managers, and onsite teams to ensure that digital models reflect construction realities, meet project schedules, and uphold quality standards. Additionally, the role demands contributing to BIM protocols, workflows, and integration with project planning and digital transformation efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM), including creating models, coordination, clash detection, and compliance with BIM standards.
• Ability to interpret and develop detailed construction drawings, accurately translating design intent into coordinated BIM models and documentation.
• Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their coordination within multidisciplinary BIM models.
• Understanding of architectural spatial design, building layouts, and detailing to accurately represent these within BIM environments.
• Familiarity with civil engineering components, such as structural elements, site development, and infrastructure as related to BIM project delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with BIM authoring and coordination software such as Revit and Navisworks, including experience with common data environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, enabling effective teamwork across multiple disciplines under tight deadlines.
• Experience working with construction standards applicable in the GCC or broader MENA region.
