BIM Coordinator

Role Overview

The BIM Coordinator will lead and orchestrate Building Information Modeling activities among diverse project teams at الأمباط القابضة | Ambatt. This permanent on-site position based in Riyadh requires managing BIM workflows, ensuring adherence to model standards, and facilitating seamless data exchange between architecture, structural, and MEP disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Establishing and maintaining project BIM models, with regular updates.
• Conducting clash detection and resolving coordination conflicts between different design models.
• Generating model-driven documentation essential for design evaluations and construction phases.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and designers to enhance project quality and workflow efficiency.
• Providing training on BIM best practices to team members and assisting in the adoption of new BIM tools.
• Contributing to ongoing improvements in digital project delivery methods and compliance with standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in BIM coordination, specifically handling multidisciplinary models and addressing design/construction conflicts.
• Proficiency with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, and knowledge of BIM standards.
• Academic background in Architecture or related building environment fields capable of interpreting technical drawings and models.
• Understanding of MEP systems for their integration within comprehensive BIM models.
• Project management competence to organize BIM tasks, track schedules, and ensure timely deliverables.
• Experience in performing clash detection, managing issues, and producing coordination reports.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to data quality and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across multidisciplinary teams.
• Holds a relevant diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Previous involvement in BIM coordination for medium to large projects; familiarity with Saudi or GCC construction sectors is beneficial.
