Big Data Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Big Data Site Reliability Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust big data infrastructure and ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate will develop automation tools, address system performance issues, and collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain dependable big data infrastructure components such as HDFS, HBase, ElasticSearch, Doris, RocksDB, and ClickHouse.
• Create efficient automation utilities to manage and monitor large-scale big data environments.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve production challenges related to system performance and failures.
• Work closely with app development teams to diagnose issues and improve system dependability.
• Participate actively in a 24/7 on-call rotation to respond promptly to incidents.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and computer architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with at least one backend programming language such as Python, Golang, or Java.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and network concepts is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in both Chinese and English languages is preferred.
