Role Overview

The Bid Specialist position is an on-site, full-time role based in Silchar, Assam. The individual will oversee the complete bidding and tendering lifecycle for road and infrastructure projects. Key daily responsibilities include scouting for applicable tenders, compiling requirement details, collaborating with engineering, financial, and project divisions, and assembling compliant bid documentation. This role demands crafting clear, competitive technical and commercial proposals, monitoring submission timelines, ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurate, and maintaining comprehensive bid records. Additionally, the specialist will assess competitor bids and aid in refining bidding strategies and document templates for continuous enhancement.

Qualifications and Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of bidding and tender management processes, ensuring alignment with client and regulatory standards.
• Practical experience in bid document preparation and proposal articulation, capable of producing structured, compelling technical and commercial submissions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and convey bid details succinctly and professionally.
• Work experience within construction, infrastructure, or allied industries, with robust awareness of both government and private sector tender protocols.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and document management software, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational capabilities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• Capacity to operate on-site in Silchar, juggle multiple deadlines, and uphold stringent standards of accuracy and ethical conduct.
