Overview
This role presents an opportunity to join COS, a rapidly expanding family-run Australian company dedicated to maintaining the health, safety, and productivity of Australian workers, patients, and students by providing vital products. Position Summary
Reporting to the Bids and Contracts Manager, the Bid Coordinator manages the complete bid lifecycle for a portfolio of customer tenders and proposals. The role requires working closely with internal teams to create high-quality, compliant submission documents while ensuring timely delivery and coordination of all bid activities.
Key Duties
- Manage the full tender process to aid sales efforts in acquiring and retaining contracts.
- Handle incoming bid requests and coordinate collaboration among Sales, Pricing, Subject Matter Experts, and Contracts teams.
- Prepare customized and compliant tender responses tailored to meet client requirements and strategic objectives.
- Ensure timely and compliant submission of tenders through designated portals or electronic means.
- Oversee bid schedules to guarantee all contributions are completed and submissions are accurate and punctual.
- Participate in enhancing bid content, procedures, and templates for continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience in bid coordination, tender response, or proposal generation.
- Familiarity with structured procurement processes, such as those found in government, corporates, or regulated sectors.
- Strong skills in stakeholder management and cross-team cooperation.
- Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Office tools; experience with AI-based tools is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
