About the Company
WillWare Technologies is a company seeking an experienced BI / Data Analytics Specialist to join their team in Kolkata. The role supports enterprise-wide business intelligence, reporting, and analytics efforts across manufacturing and corporate functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and improve Power BI dashboards and reports covering manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, sales, finance, and executive KPIs.
- Construct data models, develop DAX calculations, build Power Query transformations, and establish reusable BI components.
- Analyze data sourced from SAP/S4HANA, Salesforce, MES, AWS Redshift, Excel, and other enterprise systems.
- Convert business requirements into clear KPI definitions, reporting formulas, data sets, and interactive dashboards.
- Carry out data validation, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve data quality issues.
- Collaborate closely with business units, IT departments, data engineering teams, and implementation partners.
- Provide support for predictive analytics and artificial intelligence initiatives including demand forecasting, production, procurement, sales, and inventory management analytics.
- Ensure thorough documentation of data sources, KPI definitions, data models, and dashboard design logic.
Qualifications and Skills
- Between 5 to 7 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or BI development.
- Proficient hands-on skills with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
- Strong command of SQL with experience working on enterprise-level relational databases.
- Familiarity with star schema design, semantic data modeling, KPI calculation logic, and optimizing report performance.
- Experience using AWS services, especially Amazon Redshift; additional exposure to AWS S3 and Glue is advantageous.
- Background working with enterprise data sources such as SAP/S4HANA, Salesforce, and MES systems.
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication, stakeholder management capabilities, and skill in maintaining accurate documentation.
Additional Desired Skills
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial analytics domains.
- Understanding of KPIs related to OEE, yield, downtime, production output, inventory, procurement, sales, and financial metrics.
- Knowledge of Python or PySpark for analytics or automation tasks.
- Exposure to predictive analytics and AI applications.
- Certifications such as Power BI PL-300 or AWS related credentials are favorable.
