Job description

Overview

We are partnering exclusively with a global financial services firm to fill the newly elevated role of Benefits Lead for the EMEA and APAC regions. Based in Dublin, this leadership role entails overseeing the organisation's benefits portfolio throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific regions. This strategic position is key in evolving the company's international benefits function, building on an established framework to introduce enhanced governance, consistency, and modernization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility for benefits programs across EMEA and APAC by gaining deep familiarity with current arrangements and identifying top priorities for improvements.
  • Drive the evolution of the international benefits portfolio to ensure stronger governance and determine where regional or local variations add employee or commercial value.
  • Lead the modernization and review of benefits programs, especially in European markets, while adapting and implementing successful initiatives within growing APAC locations.
  • Manage initiatives end-to-end—from market analysis and developing business cases, through vendor selection and stakeholder engagement to implementation, testing, and launch.
  • Apply commercial acumen to oversee broker and vendor relationships, including handling contracts, renewals, service performance, and leveraging multi-market opportunities.
  • Build and nurture a small regional benefits team, fostering clear role ownership and delegation while staying engaged with day-to-day operations.
  • Utilize employee feedback, utilization and cost data, as well as market intelligence, to assess benefits experience and target meaningful improvements.

Candidate Profile

  • Experienced benefits professional with multi-jurisdictional exposure across EMEA and/or APAC.
  • Proven capability to own benefits programs from initial analysis through successful implementation.
  • Strong skills in managing vendor and broker relationships and commercial negotiations.
  • Ability to leverage market insights, employee feedback, and data analytics for evidence-based recommendations.
  • Credibility with senior HR and business leaders with influence exercised without formal authority.
  • Experience leading or developing small specialized teams, balancing leadership with operational involvement.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and effective within a pragmatic, cooperative, and flat organizational culture.

Location & Working Conditions

The position is based in Dublin city centre within an established HR and business support environment. While the company's operations are mainly office-based, flexible remote workdays are offered, although there is no fixed hybrid schedule.

Additional Benefits

Employees enjoy a comprehensive package including performance-linked compensation, pension schemes, full medical and dental insurance, car parking, a fully subsidized canteen, onsite gym facilities, and other employee perks.
