Role Summary

We are seeking a Benefits Adviser to remotely support employees in understanding and managing their benefits options. This position entails providing expert advice on health, retirement, and ancillary benefits while ensuring proper administration in collaboration with carriers and brokers.

Key Duties

Guide employees through benefits enrollment periods and life change events concerning health, retirement, and voluntary benefits.
Manage benefits programs in partnership with insurance carriers and brokers.
Organize educational sessions and campaigns to communicate benefits offerings effectively.
Address and resolve employee concerns related to claims, eligibility, and coverage.
Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and applicable state laws.
Assist in formulating annual benefits renewals, plan design, and vendor selection.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Minimum three years of experience in benefits administration, brokerage, or as an HR generalist with a focus on benefits.
In-depth understanding of US health, retirement, and leave benefit regulations.
Proficiency with HRIS and benefits management platforms such as Workday, Rippling, Gusto, and BambooHR.
Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Relevant benefits certifications like CEBS, GBA, or RPA are advantageous.
