Position Overview

We are searching for a Beluga Ground Support specialist (m/w/d) to join our client in Bremen at the earliest opportunity. This is a permanent position offered through a personnel leasing arrangement with a client in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Securely handle loading and unloading of large aircraft components, especially wing and fuselage sections, for air transport aboard the Airbus Beluga.
• Perform standard aircraft ground handling tasks including communication via headset and loading and unloading following specific loading plans.
• Prepare aircraft for flight by performing de-icing and docking/undocking processes, considering various parking configurations.
• Assemble and disassemble supports and ensure the aircraft's technical supply, including connecting power sources.
• Operate specialized equipment used in loading and unloading the Beluga aircraft.
• Conduct final load inspections before handing over to the Beluga crew.
• Load and transport large components on air transport frames within designated operational zones.
• Execute crane operations for moving aircraft sections onto transport frames and manage structural transports within the site and between different Airbus locations.
• Participate in national small-scale projects and other logistical duties within ground support.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic or equivalent technical or craft-related qualification.
• Strong technical aptitude paired with a careful and responsible approach to work.
• A high level of quality awareness and the ability to maintain concentration even during long and demanding tasks.
• Independent, reliable, and team-oriented work style.
• Willingness to work in a three-shift system and on weekends.
• Preparedness to work outdoors under various weather conditions, including winter.
• Readiness to undergo necessary aviation security clearance (ZÜP) prior to deployment.
• Commitment to safely handling aircraft, large components, and technical tools.
• Good communication skills and confident adherence to routines and loading instructions.
