About the Role
Are you interested in building a career in the beer industry? Join us as a Draft Beer Quality Technician (DQT) where you will contribute to delivering the highest quality draft beer to consumers, exactly as the brewmaster intended. Our company, A Head for Profits (AHFP), is driven by the motto "TRUST us for the Perfect Pint." This role is an excellent opportunity to learn from top experts in the field while visiting reputable bars and breweries daily, with nights and weekends off.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and service draft beer lines at various bars and restaurants to ensure optimal beer quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with managers, owners, and bartenders on your route.
- Keep draft beer systems clean and fully operational to support increased draft beer sales.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Able to lift over 50 pounds comfortably.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn hands-on tasks.
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to reliability, attention to detail, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.
No prior experience with draft beer systems is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided covering operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Working Conditions and Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- No nights, early mornings, or weekend shifts, with regular opportunities for overtime.
- Use of personal reliable vehicle required for transportation.
- Mileage reimbursement provided at $0.72 per mile.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary of $17.00 per hour with opportunities for wage growth and overtime pay.
