Bartender

Position Overview

Join EDITION in Dubai as a dedicated Bartender responsible for crafting beverages tailored to guest preferences by accurately following recipes and measuring standards. Your role encompasses serving wine and champagne, maintaining the bar's cleanliness, and ensuring the bar area and tools are always in optimal condition.

Key Duties

• Prepare drinks precisely as per recipes using correct measuring tools.
• Handle wine and champagne bottles by issuing, opening, and serving them.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bar, bar unit, tables, and equipment.
• Create fresh garnishes to enhance drink presentation.
• Manage inventory by stocking ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Transport necessary supplies to the bar setup area efficiently.
• Wash and clear away dirty glassware and dishware promptly.
• Anticipate and communicate restocking needs to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Process diverse payment methods accurately.
• Conduct bank counts at shift end, prepare cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, secure receipts, and safeguard the bank.
• Secure all alcoholic beverages and storage areas responsibly.
• Complete closing tasks thoroughly at the end of shifts.

• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, reporting any accidents or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Engage guests warmly, anticipate their service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests alike.
• Collaborate effectively within the team to meet organizational goals and address employee concerns constructively.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and expectations consistently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods during shifts.
• Capacity to handle objects up to 50 pounds, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling without assistance.
• Dexterity for manipulating objects requiring hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate confined spaces, stairs, ramps, and uneven or slippery surfaces safely.
• Perform movements such as bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and stooping as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience in a similar role.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No licenses or certifications mandated.
