Position Overview

As a Barista at JW Marriott Dubai, your role transcends preparing beverages; you will craft memorable experiences for guests by blending expertise with personalized service. Beyond serving drinks, you act as a host, overseeing the ambiance and operational smoothness of the bar area, anticipating guest requirements, and collaborating closely with hotel and community teams to elevate the hospitality experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of quality beverages while ensuring the bar is maintained impeccably.
• Engage with guests warmly to provide attentive and tailored service.
• Maintain vigilance on safety standards, adhere strictly to company policies, and protect company assets.
• Uphold professionalism through appropriate personal appearance and uniform standards.
• Handle monetary transactions accurately and provide helpful information to guests as needed.
• Demonstrate physical capability to stand, walk, sit for prolonged periods, and manage objects weighing up to 25 pounds involving bending, lifting, and pulling as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational attainment: high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• No certifications or licenses necessary.
