Position Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Barista with expertise in preparing high-quality coffee beverages and deep knowledge of third-wave coffee culture. The candidate should be committed to delivering excellent customer service and supporting a collaborative work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully prepare and serve a range of coffee drinks including single-origin pour-overs, cold brews, and artisan espresso-based beverages, ensuring superior quality and presentation.
• Engage customers with courteous and attentive service, understanding their taste preferences and recommending suitable drinks.
• Exhibit extensive knowledge of third-wave coffee principles such as bean origins, roasting profiles, and brewing techniques, and share insights with both customers and colleagues.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment, conducting regular cleaning and troubleshooting for optimal function.
• Support inventory management by assisting with ordering, receiving, and stocking coffee beans and supplies; monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
• Adhere to quality control protocols by following standardized recipes, accurately measuring ingredients, and maintaining beverage consistency.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a barista preferred but not mandatory; passion for coffee and eagerness to learn are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Basic arithmetic skills for managing transactions and inventory tracking.
• Knowledge of third-wave coffee concepts and brewing methods is advantageous; openness to developing expertise in this area is critical.
• Availability to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
