Barista

About the Role

We are seeking a capable and customer-oriented Barista to craft and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks while upholding superior hygiene practices, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Duties

• Prepare beverages including coffee, tea, shakes, mocktails, adhering strictly to established recipes.
• Operate and care for coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other related café equipment.
• Maintain consistent taste, presentation, portioning, and overall quality of beverages served.
• Attend to customer orders with a friendly, prompt approach.
• Keep the counter, equipment, and workspace clean and hygienic at all times.
• Monitor and replenish stocks of coffee, milk, syrups, ingredients, and consumables as needed.
• Comply with FIFO inventory system along with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints tactfully.
• Assist with billing, counter tasks, and other operational duties as necessary.
• Minimize wastage and promptly report any issues related to equipment or stock to supervisors.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Basic proficiency in coffee making and understanding of café operations.
• Well-presented, punctual, disciplined, and committed to service excellence.
• Capable of working shifts, including weekends and busy periods.
• Experience in cafés, restaurants, hotels, or food retail sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
