Barista

About the Role

We are seeking a cheerful, dynamic, and diligent Barista / Café Staff to become part of our team at Genz Bites in Pune, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will actively prepare a variety of drinks including coffee, tea, cold coffee, shakes, and other beverages, while assisting with serving food items like burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, fries, and snacks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a selection of hot and cold beverages to customers.
• Assist with the serving of various food items offered at the café.
• Take accurate customer orders and deliver excellent customer service.
• Operate coffee-making machinery and billing systems as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and adhere to food safety practices within the café.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen personnel to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Manage supplies at the counter and keep the work station orderly and clean.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience working in a café environment or as a barista is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of coffee and beverage preparation techniques.
• Strong communication skills paired with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Demonstrates punctuality, honesty, good personal grooming, and a sense of responsibility.
• Motivated to learn and comfortable working in a high-paced setting.
