Job Overview
This position requires a skilled barber to work within a lively barbershop or hairstyling salon, assisting clients with personalized grooming and hair care. The candidate must perform all duties at the physical workplace as remote work is not an option.
Language & Education
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Possession of a trade certificate or diploma in relevant fields, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have between 2 and 3 years of professional experience in barbering or hairstyling.
Work Environment
- Employment is on-site within a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio.
- Fast-paced working conditions demanding excellent manual dexterity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional advice to clients regarding beauty care treatments.
- Assess hair and scalp conditions for appropriate care.
- Execute haircuts and trims tailored to client specifications and preferences.
- Offer custom treatments for hair and scalp health.
- Perform shampooing services for customers.
- Shave, trim beards, and shape mustaches.
- Apply chemical treatments such as bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses for hair coloring, frosting, or streaking.
- Recommend hairstyles that complement clients' physical features and style preferences.
- Manage inventory and order necessary supplies.

Skills and Techniques
- Proficient in blow drying techniques.
