Overview

This role requires a skilled professional to work in a barbershop environment, providing a range of hair care and grooming services. The position demands hands-on expertise with a focus on customer satisfaction and requires physical presence at the Lloydminster location in Alberta, Canada.

Languages and Education

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Must have completed secondary (high) school education.

Experience

Candidates should possess between two and three years of practical experience in barbering or hairstyling.

Work Environment

All tasks are to be performed on-site in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Remote work is not available.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assess the condition of hair and scalp for each client.
• Manage booking of appointments efficiently.
• Perform hair cutting and trimming according to client preferences.
• Administer personalized hair and scalp treatments.
• Shampoo clients' hair as part of grooming services.
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches with precision.
• Apply various hair treatments including waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp massage conditioning.
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair creatively and professionally.
• Advise on suitable hairstyles considering the client’s facial features and style preferences.
