Role Overview

We are looking for a full-time Barber to join us on-site in the London Area. This role involves delivering expert hair cutting, styling, and grooming services, including client consultations focused on achieving desired looks while preserving hair and scalp health.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assess client needs upon arrival.
• Provide a wide range of barbering services, such as fades, classic haircuts, beard trims, and shaves.
• Advise clients on appropriate hair care and styling products.
• Maintain clean, hygienic, and safe workstations in line with health and safety protocols.
• Contribute to creating and sustaining a relaxed and welcoming barber shop atmosphere.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients.
• Support retail sales of directed grooming products.
• Work collaboratively with team members to uphold Ruffians' brand and service standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proficiency in both traditional and contemporary barbering and hair cutting techniques.
• Competence in hair styling and care, with the ability to provide maintenance advice and product recommendations.
• Possession of relevant cosmetology or barbering certification, license, or recognized professional training meeting UK standards.
• Prior experience in a barbershop or salon environment emphasizing excellent client service and consultation.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in all aspects of service delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities, with ability to thrive in team settings.
• Flexibility to adapt to shop hours, including evening and weekend shifts.
• Keen interest in current fashion, grooming trends, and ongoing professional development in cutting and styling methods.
