Role Summary
This full-time, onsite position located in Doha requires a Bank Teller responsible for conducting daily customer transactions such as cash deposits, withdrawals, and currency exchange. The teller must ensure accuracy and adherence to both the company’s internal policies and Sharia-compliant financial rules. Duties include verifying client information, balancing cash drawers, processing transfers and checks, keeping comprehensive transaction records, responding to inquiries, resolving basic service issues, and escalating complex matters to senior personnel. Additionally, maintaining a secure and well-organized branch environment by following all security and regulatory standards is part of the role.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proficient in teller operations, including handling deposits and transaction processing.
- Skilled in accurate cash handling, including counting, reconciling, and safeguarding money and documents.
- Strong communication capabilities to explain procedures and services clearly.
- Excellent customer service aptitude, displaying professionalism, patience, and respect during all customer interactions.
- Familiarity with Islamic banking or Sharia-compliant finance principles is advantageous.
- Attention to detail, good numerical skills, and basic computer literacy are necessary.
- Previous experience working in banks, currency exchange offices, or financial services is preferred.
- Must be willing and able to work onsite in Doha and collaborate effectively within a diverse and multicultural team.
