Role Overview

This full-time on-site Bank Teller position based in Dubai involves processing daily customer banking activities including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments with precision and compliance with established banking policies. Responsibilities include managing the cash drawer, verifying cash transactions, balancing funds at shift end, and promptly reporting any discrepancies.

The Teller will deliver courteous client service, address customer inquiries effectively, promote appropriate banking products, and assist customers with basic account management procedures. They must maintain accurate documentation, adhere to security and compliance standards, and coordinate with branch personnel to ensure smooth branch operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in teller operations, efficiently handling routine banking transactions with accuracy.
• Strong cash handling capabilities, with meticulous attention to counting, balancing, and securing cash.
• Excellent communication skills for clearly explaining banking procedures and engaging with diverse customer base and team members.
• Demonstrated customer service skills with professionalism and problem-solving aptitude to foster positive client relationships.
• Prior experience in banking or financial services is preferable.
• Basic knowledge of banking regulations, compliance policies, and security measures.
• Familiarity with banking software and standard office applications.
• Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; higher diplomas or degrees in finance, business, or related disciplines are advantageous.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site in Dubai, including flexible hours aligned with branch operations.
