Position Overview

Joining Walmart Canada as a Bakery Associate offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your expertise in retail. In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service while upholding Walmart's core values, maintain and organize the bakery section, and support merchandising and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality and appealing presentation of bakery products including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Keep the bakery department fully stocked and prepared for daily business needs.
• Ensure all items are correctly signed and priced.
• Comply with cold chain policies, including thermometer calibration, temperature logs, food handling protocols, and rotation according to sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards.
• Process ordering, clearance, markdowns, and product labeling according to established procedures.
• Accurately prepare bakery products following thawing and baking instructions to maintain quality and appearance.
• Secure all bakery displays safely and properly.

Additional Information

The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.55.
