Role Overview

As a Baker in the Pastry and Bakery kitchen, you will play a key role in maintaining the exceptional standard of baked goods that contribute to the overall guest experience. Partnering closely with the Head Baker and Pastry Chef, your work will embody precision, innovation, and passion, reflecting Rosewood’s dedication to Relationship Hospitality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately follow recipes and technical sheets, taking full responsibility for your bakery section to guarantee every product meets five-star quality and presentation standards.
• Inspect incoming ingredient deliveries for quality, accuracy, and quantity, monitor stock levels, suggest requisitions, and ensure your section is fully stocked for optimal performance.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with HACCP standards, handling all related reporting diligently.
• Know all menu allergens thoroughly in compliance with Natasha’s Law, ensuring safe preparation, handling, and clear communication about allergens.
• Support the Head Baker in cultivating a cooperative and positive team environment, demonstrating leadership by example and encouraging constructive feedback.
• Champion Rosewood Impacts initiatives by integrating sustainability and circular hospitality principles into daily operations.
