Role Overview

We are looking for a diligent Baker to join our team full-time onsite. This position involves preparing and baking a variety of items including bagels, cinnamon rolls, cookies, breads, and other pastries by following set recipes and quality standards. The role requires mixing doughs and batters, managing baking processes, monitoring oven times, and maintaining ingredient inventories. Presentation consistency and neat workspaces adhering to safety and hygiene protocols are essential. Collaboration with coffee and front-of-house staff ensures smooth daily operations. Early morning starts and occasional work on weekends or holidays will be necessary to fulfill our service demands.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven ability in commercial baking and food preparation.
• Competency in producing consistent baked goods including cookies and breads according to recipes.
• Knowledge of fundamental baking methods, ingredient management, and compliance with food safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and time management, with capability to work efficiently during early hours.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle lifting of ingredients and equipment.
• Positive, collaborative, and communicative work approach.
• Prior experience in bakery, café, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
