Backend Software Engineer

About the Role

Join a rapidly expanding company leading innovation in conversational AI technology. You will be responsible for developing robust AI production systems and the supporting infrastructure, owning technical choices, and guiding the conversational AI platform's progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop production-grade AI solutions along with necessary infrastructure to support them.
• Make autonomous technical decisions that influence the direction of the conversational AI platform.
• Design and build conversational AI systems utilizing Python and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Incorporate third-party AI technologies to establish reliable and scalable production pipelines.
• Evaluate current platforms to pinpoint areas for modernization and drive the architecture's evolution for advanced AI capabilities.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python backend development.
• Solid understanding of conversational AI processes and building backend services and infrastructure around them.
• Hands-on experience deploying Large Language Models in production environments.
• Confidence in making independent technical decisions and taking ownership of projects.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services, TypeScript, Node.js, and asynchronous programming in Python.
