Role Overview

We are seeking a Backend Engineer skilled in Go to develop scalable production-grade systems. The position involves building and maintaining microservices that deliver core product features within modern backend architectures. Ideal candidates enjoy crafting efficient systems, tackling performance issues, and operating within real-world production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement features comprehensively from start to finish
• Develop and sustain microservices using Golang
• Engage in API design and facilitate communication between services
• Identify and fix problems across distributed systems
• Produce clean, maintainable, and extensively tested codebases
• Collaborate closely with engineers from product and infrastructure teams

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• Practical experience with Go programming language or a strong desire to acquire it quickly
• Solid grasp of backend principles including APIs, databases, concurrency, and networking
• Participate actively in architectural design and technical decision processes
• Knowledge of microservice architectures and distributed systems concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with meticulous attention to detail
• Enthusiastic learner capable of adapting in fast-paced environments

Preferred Skills

• Work experience with RESTful APIs or messaging platforms
• Understanding of Goroutines and asynchronous programming in Go
• Familiarity with Docker or container orchestration technologies
• Exposure to cloud service providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
