The Know Your Customer (KYC) Technology Team at Binance is responsible for building cutting-edge platforms that guarantee smooth user onboarding experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable services accompanied by comprehensive testing.
• Take initiative to optimize performance and resolve technical incidents efficiently.
• Create and upkeep detailed technical documentation to support development and operations.
• Develop clean, maintainable, high-quality code adhering to best engineering practices and promote engineering excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teams and provide mentorship to junior developers.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or comparable professional experience.
• Have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in designing and building high-throughput distributed software applications.
• Strong proficiency in core Java programming and extensive experience with the Spring Framework.
• Solid experience working with MySQL databases and familiarity with at least one NoSQL database technology.
• Deep understanding of distributed system architecture; acquainted with at least one messaging middleware and its design fundamentals.
• Adapt quickly and demonstrate resilience under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams operating across multiple time zones.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to facilitate communication with international partners and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in tuning performance parameters related to JVM, SQL databases, RPC frameworks, or similar technologies.
• Background or exposure to KYC procedures or compliance-related projects is advantageous.
