Job Overview

The Back of House Lead is a pivotal member of the store leadership, responsible for managing the inventory program and supporting store operations alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Manager. This role requires initiative, strong assessment capabilities, clear communication regarding inventory matters, and agility in managing day-to-day business fluctuations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a dynamic and efficient back-of-house experience.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with store managers, team members, and customers.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Keep the backroom organized, clean, and easy to navigate.
  • Handle daily destock and restock operations accurately.
  • Attend monthly inventory meetings to stay aligned with business goals.
  • Coordinate weekly cycle counts and manage inter-store transfers.
  • Execute weekly manual restocks ensuring the sales floor remains fully stocked.
  • Ensure prompt receipt and processing of all shipments, following up as necessary.
  • Identify and promptly communicate any product issues.

Candidate Requirements

  • Availability to work at least one weekend day and certain holidays.
  • Consistent punctuality and adherence to scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers and peers.
  • Proactive and constructive approach to resolving customer concerns.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Quick adaptability to learning new procedures and protocols.
