Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a skilled Backend Software Engineer specialized in Java to architect and develop scalable backend services and APIs. This role involves working on fundamental platform components, boosting their performance, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Create scalable, dependable, and secure microservices architectures.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to best coding practices.
• Work collaboratively with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end feature delivery.
• Engage in design discussions, conduct code reviews, and partake in brainstorming technical solutions.
• Investigate and resolve production issues while contributing to ongoing system enhancements.
• Implement automation strategies including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools for better observability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (BE/B.Tech, MCA).
• Between 3 to 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in Java 8 or higher along with extensive experience in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and multithreading concepts.
• Hands-on experience with both relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, and NoSQL databases including MongoDB.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tooling.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles is essential.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of message queuing systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with cloud service providers including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Awareness of API gateways, service discovery mechanisms, and caching technologies like Redis or Hazelcast.
• Exposure to performance testing and load test methodologies.
