Role Overview

We are seeking a Back End Developer (SDE 2) with a strong background in scalable backend system development, specifically with Core Java and related frameworks, to join our Hyderabad team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with technical leads and product teams to align development efforts.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, enabling them to make informed technical decisions.
• Engage in architectural discussions and lead system modifications to align with business objectives.
• Take initiative in re-architecting subsystems as necessary to accommodate growth.
• Assume responsibility for complex components and lead change initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.

Experience and Skills

• 4 to 8 years of experience in Core Java development with expertise in backend Java frameworks such as Spring.
• Strong knowledge of distributed programming concepts, capable of evaluating various approaches critically.
• Proficient with messaging platforms like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and solid understanding of data structures.
• Advanced concurrency skills in Java, including deep knowledge of optimistic and pessimistic locking mechanisms and their trade-offs.
• Good command over JDBC and experience with relational database systems.
• Hands-on experience in Java performance tuning, including garbage collection and profiling.
• Understanding of distributed system design principles with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Well-versed in design patterns and their appropriate contextual application.
• Advocate of Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Self-motivated, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Strong collaborator with effective communication skills for technical discourse.
• Team player capable of contributing positively to group dynamics.
