Work Model and Contract Details
- Location: Berlin, moving to Prenzlauer Berg in February 2027
- Work Model: Hybrid, 2-3 days per week in office
- Working Hours: Full-time

Role Overview
Our eVergabe solution has for many years supported public sector clients in construction by enabling digital, transparent, and legally compliant procurement processes. As digitalization progresses in the public sector, demand for modern procurement platforms and expert consultation rises. To strengthen our market presence in the DACH region and deepen our partnership with public agencies in their digital transformation, we seek an Account Manager.
You will significantly enhance our software's visibility, build robust relationships with public procurement stakeholders, and understand the needs of municipalities, authorities, and other public institutions. Communication with decision-makers, specialist users, and industry networks will provide valuable market insights to actively shape the future of digital public procurement processes.
Responsibilities
- Initiate contact, analyze client needs, prepare offers, negotiate contracts, and maintain long-term relationships with public sector clients
- Advise and present the RIB eVergabe software solution onsite or virtually to prospective clients
- Manage and oversee public procurement processes including internal coordination, offer preparation, and timely submissions
- Build and nurture durable relationships with public clients and relevant stakeholders
- Represent RIB at industry events and within professional networks
- Identify market opportunities and relay customer and market feedback to internal teams such as Product Management and Marketing
- Contribute actively to enhancing our eVergabe solution's position within the public sector market
Candidate Profile
- Several years of experience in selling software solutions, SaaS products, or technical solutions
- Proficiency in B2B sales and establishing enduring customer relationships
- Strong communication and negotiation capabilities
- Ability to explain complex topics clearly and provide expert advice to clients
- Quickly grasp customer needs and convey suitable solutions understandably
- High customer orientation and advisory competence
- Structured, independent work style with strong self-motivation
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% within Germany
- Excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level) targeting the DACH region market; at least good English proficiency (B2 level) for internal communication

- Experience working with public clients, procurement procedures, or public tenders
- Industry experience within construction
