Position Summary
FL Technics LLC is currently expanding and looking for a skilled B2 Aircraft Engineer to join its team in Abu Dhabi/Dubai. Candidates should possess a valid GCAA or EASA B2 license, endorsed with type ratings, and have solid experience in avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, and aircraft certification under GCAA and EASA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct both line and base maintenance procedures on aircraft according to relevant regulatory frameworks and technical manuals.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with avionics systems and components effectively.
- Certify all maintenance work conducted within authorized rights and license scopes.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, airworthiness, and quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain comprehensive and compliant records in line with company policies and aviation regulations.
- Work in coordination with mechanics, planners, and quality assurance teams to achieve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Hands-on experience servicing B737NG and A320 aircraft, including various engine models.
- Possession of a valid ICAO-compliant maintenance license issued by GCAA, DGCA, or EASA.
- For applicants seeking GCAA license conversion, a minimum of two years of authorized company experience along with prerequisite supporting documentation is mandatory.
- Completion of courses in EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System), FTS (Fault Tree Analysis), Human Factors, and Safety Management System (SMS).
