Required Experience and Skills
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a software engineering or DevOps capacity.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps and Azure CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS).
- Knowledgeable in managing Windows and Linux infrastructures, including IIS servers.
- Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python for automation tasks.
- Strong command of source code management using TFS, Git repositories, including workflows and branching strategies.
- Familiarity with Jenkins for continuous integration is considered beneficial.
- Database pipeline creation experience with SQL and awareness of Redgate Liquidate tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level CI/CD processes specifically for applications built on the .Net/C# and React frameworks.
- Build and configure development tools and infrastructure to streamline software delivery.
- Automate and continuously improve build, integration, deployment, and release operations.
- Identify and resolve issues during pipeline execution related to software updates and fixes.
- Create and manage database pipelines and deployment strategies alongside CI/CD workflows.
- Deploy updates and patches systematically ensuring minimal disruption.
- Analyze root causes for production errors and promptly address technical challenges.
- Manage container deployment and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement application monitoring and logging with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to ensure system reliability.
- Enforce security and compliance measures employing Azure Key Vault, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
- Write and maintain automation scripts to support operational tasks and improve efficiency.
