Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team in Vikhroli, Mumbai. This is a full-time position with mandatory on-site work. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong skills in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
- Set up and manage application and infrastructure monitoring systems utilizing Prometheus and Grafana.
- Oversee logging, alerting, and operational dashboards to ensure system health and performance.
- Conduct code quality assurance and security scanning with tools like SonarQube and Trivy.
- Resolve issues related to applications, containers, Kubernetes clusters, networking, and overall infrastructure.
- Manage source code repositories through Git, GitHub, or GitLab platforms.
- Create and maintain Docker images and container environments.
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes or Amazon EKS clusters.
- Use Helm charts for efficient Kubernetes application deployment.
- Implement GitOps deployment workflows using Argo CD.
- Provision and manage cloud resources on AWS, including services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ECR, EKS, CloudWatch, ALB, Route 53, and SSM.
- Automate operational tasks and processes via Shell scripting.
- Adhere to best practices concerning security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance.
- Participate actively in production deployments, incident handling, and root cause analysis.
- Communicate effectively within teams and stakeholders.
Interview Details
The recruitment process consists of two rounds: an initial virtual interview via Google Meet lasting approximately 30 minutes, followed by a mandatory in-person interview at the Vikhroli office.
