Role Summary
This role functions as an Avionics/Electrical Technician, specializing in maintenance and repair of aircraft electrical, navigational, and avionics systems. Work is performed following aircraft-specific manuals and directives to diagnose and resolve system malfunctions, using precision tools and testing equipment. Responsibilities include assisting customers with inventory requisition, maintaining tools and equipment, completing maintenance documentation, and ensuring safety during all operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and synchronize aircraft electrical maintenance procedures to meet operational readiness goals as per contractual standards.
- Ensure adherence to established maintenance systems and processes to provide real-time awareness of operational readiness rates.
- Set and implement daily objectives and priorities for aircraft electrical maintenance to achieve operational goals.
- Manage daily maintenance operations of assigned aircraft, collaborating with Production Control and Aviation Logistics for parts and spares.
- Operate within quality control standards, procedures, and processes related to aircraft maintenance.
- Conduct inquiries and analyses related to aviation electrical maintenance, reporting findings to management.
- Coordinate maintenance support activities and training sessions with relevant managers.
- Support Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART) processes in coordination with Production Control and Flight Operations.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher educational qualification; mandatory for visa requirements.
- Completion of the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Qualification Verification Program is required for employment eligibility.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification mandatory.
- Minimum of five years experience working as an electrician on AH-64E, UH-60M, and OH-58D aircraft models.
Experience and Skills
- Successful completion of a U.S. Military aircraft electrician maintenance course or civilian equivalent.
- Proven experience performing unit-level electrical repairs on specified aircraft.
- Qualification through U.S. government armed forces or equivalent civilian training programs.
- Proficient with computer-assisted technical manuals, maintenance documentation, and record-keeping.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and passport required.
- Military veterans must provide DD214 documentation.
- Must pass all employment qualification criteria including medical checks, drug testing, and background screening.
