Role Overview

The Automotive Detailer and Rustproofer will perform vehicle detailing and rust protection tasks according to company standards to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold brand quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle detailing procedures to meet established guidelines.
• Vacuum, clean, and shampoo vehicle interiors using specialized cleaning and extraction tools.
• Use power washing equipment to clean vehicle exteriors thoroughly.
• Conduct paint correction and apply Ziebart-approved paint protection products.
• Perform meticulous final inspections and touch up customer vehicles before delivery.
• Provide rust-proofing services as per protocols including drilling access holes in body metals when necessary.
• Spray rust protection materials inside panels and undercarriages as required.
• Ensure timely completion of work assignments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in auto detailing is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail with the capacity to work accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical capability for prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and performing tasks involving grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Availability to work on any day of the week, including Sundays.
• Comfortable working under various weather conditions ranging from hot to cold.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Adept at handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on goals.
• Outstanding customer service orientation.
• Self-motivated with the ability to independently prioritise tasks and collaborate within a team.
