Job description
Role Overview
Join Coforge as an Automation Test Lead specializing in Collibra, where you will engage with cutting-edge cloud-based technologies to improve and sustain testing processes across shared platforms. This position prioritizes a test automation-first methodology, focusing on solutions within Collibra and SharePoint environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance testing processes leveraging automation across cloud platforms.
- Develop automated scripts and frameworks using tools including Playwright, SerenityJS, Selenium, Pytest, Cucumber, TestNG, or Mocha.
- Automate a variety of testing types such as functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Contribute to testing cloud-native applications on AWS or GCP and integrate automation within CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using tools like Bamboo or Jenkins.
- Perform API testing for REST and GraphQL services and operate testing with platforms including Splunk, SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA, and Xray.
- Mentor junior QA members and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to address analytical and problem-solving challenges.
Requirements
- 7 to 10 years of experience in quality assurance with a strong emphasis on test automation.
- Proficiency in programming with Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript and deep knowledge of automation design patterns like Page Object Model.
- Hands-on experience testing workflows in Collibra and SharePoint platforms.
- Expertise in building complex automation flows leveraging advanced data structures.
- Capability to work with and test cloud-native environments and integrate with continuous deployment systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills essential for mentoring and team interactions.
