Automation Sales Engineer

Overview

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new prospects for industrial automation products and solutions.
• Develop and sustain strong partnerships with clients and within the industry sector.
• Analyze customer requirements to recommend appropriate automation technologies.
• Create and present sales proposals, quotations, and presentations effectively.
• Work closely with technical teams to define project scopes and support customer needs.
• Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Monitor market developments, competitor moves, and gather customer insights.
• Maintain accurate sales reporting and customer relationship management documentation.

Candidate Profile and Skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal capabilities.
• Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation systems is a plus.
• Readiness to travel for client interactions and on-site evaluations.
• Highly motivated with a goal-oriented mindset.
• Strong presentation skills and diligent follow-up abilities.
• Open to fresh graduates with a technical or marketing inclination.
• Prior experience in technical or industrial sales advantageous for seasoned applicants.
