Job description
Role Overview
We seek a skilled AutoCAD Draughtsman to contribute to infrastructure survey and mapping projects. Your work will support precise civil and GIS survey documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed route plans, alignment drawings, and as-built diagrams using AutoCAD.
- Convert field survey data into accurate and standardized AutoCAD drawings.
- Utilize field data obtained via DGPS and Total Station surveys effectively.
- Work with geographic coordinates including Latitude/Longitude and Easting/Northing systems.
- Incorporate layers, blocks, annotations, legends, and maintain drawing standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong command of AutoCAD 2D drafting techniques.
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems such as GIS, QGIS, or ArcGIS.
- Familiarity with survey equipment data handling, including DGPS and Total Station.
- Prior exposure to railway, optical fibre cable (OFC), signaling, utility, or civil survey drawings is a plus.
