AutoCAD Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Designer to create detailed 2D drawings and layouts specifically focused on ELV (Extra Low Voltage) and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. The role requires designing and adjusting technical drawings to support various security and communication systems, as well as preparing comprehensive layouts and documentation for projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce 2D CAD designs and schematic layouts for ELV and MEP systems.
• Create and modify technical drawings related to CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Networking, Structured Cabling, PA Systems, and other ELV components.
• Develop detailed MEP layouts, including cable routing, containment/tray arrangements, and equipment positioning.
• Generate floor plans, single-line and schematic diagrams, plus installation drawings to facilitate project execution.
• Collaborate closely with project management, site personnel, and engineering teams to align drawings with field requirements.
• Implement revisions on drawings based on feedback from site inspections and client inputs.
• Prepare Bills of Quantity (BOQ), material take-off lists, and related drawing documentation upon request.
• Ensure all drawings adhere strictly to project guidelines, industry standards, and client specifications.
• Maintain accurate version control and proper documentation of all drawing materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing detailed technical drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of ELV and MEP systems, covering their design and layout principles.
• Ability to create comprehensive drawings for security and communication systems such as CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and Networking.
• Familiarity with preparing BOQ and material take-off related documentation.
• Strong coordination skills to work alongside various project and site teams effectively.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary range between INR 17,000 and INR 25,000.
