Job description
Role and Responsibilities
- Create precise and production-level 2D and 3D mechanical schematics, layouts, and drawings employing AutoCAD tools.
- Revise and update existing design drawings in accordance with feedback from senior engineering staff or production line inputs.
- Guarantee that all designs comply with manufacturing tolerances, adhere to standards such as ASME and ISO, and follow internal company protocols.
- Generate and maintain supporting documentation including Bills of Materials (BOM), parts lists, and records of engineering changes.
- Collaborate closely across functions with production, quality assurance, and shop-floor teams to address any issues related to fabrication or assembly.
- Maintain fluency and expertise in mechanical AutoCAD software usage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Educational qualification: Diploma or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
- Work location: Durgapur, West Bengal, India.
Additional Information
