Auditor - Gold Loan

Job Overview

This position focuses on auditing gold loan branches by ensuring audits are timely and of high quality. The auditor is responsible for validating gold valuations, verifying collateral purity, and performing systematic monthly stock evaluations. This role involves maintaining security checks during audits, including operational burglary alarms and CCTV systems, and confirming adherence to security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct gold loan valuations following established standard methods.
• Assess gold collateral purity thoroughly utilizing all available means.
• Ensure audits in branches meet the defined turnaround times and uphold quality standards.
• Implement routine monthly inspections to assess branch gold stock.
• Review prior audit reports, verify compliance, and report any deviations or non-compliance issues.
• Monitor security measures during audits, ensuring equipment such as CCTV and weighing balances function correctly.
• Travel to various locations and states as needed to perform audits or related duties.
• Deliver training sessions on gold loan valuation to branch staff to enhance their knowledge.
• Maintain integrity by conducting transparent and honest dealings without any personal interest in transactions.
• Protect company assets assigned for job functions.
• Utilize MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiently for reporting and presentations.
• Promote a positive work ethic to achieve results under tight deadlines and challenging conditions.
• Work extensively in the field with readiness to travel extensively on short notice.
• Perform additional departmental tasks as required.
• Exhibit managerial effectiveness and support team development.
• Define and help implement strategies to achieve monthly business goals.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Graduation in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biology, Business, Computers, or Management.
• Postgraduate qualification such as an MBA.
• Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 10 years professional experience.
