About the Role

Join our team in Bonn for a full-time, permanent Auditor Finance position available immediately. As part of the DHL Group Audit function, your role is essential in delivering independent and objective audit services that support the organization’s key stakeholders. We are focused on ensuring proper governance, protecting the company’s assets, optimizing business operations, and providing clear audit findings to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform process and risk-based audit assignments related to various financial areas such as accounting, taxes, and treasury.
• Prepare audit assignments and develop audit programs tailored to the scope of work.
• Participate in and organize opening and closing meetings for audit engagements.
• Conduct interviews and perform detailed data analysis, including gathering and processing relevant information.
• Document audit findings accurately and in alignment with established standards.
• Deliver comprehensive, high-quality audit reports detailing conclusions and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with audited units and key stakeholders.
• Assist in evolving audit principles, standards, methods, and program development for the finance audit function.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Initial professional experience in an accounting firm or internal audit department.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards and finance-related processes and controls.
• Strong interest in data analytics and openness to emerging technologies including AI and large language models.
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English, comfortable in diverse cultural settings.
• Excellent communication abilities combined with quick understanding and analytical thinking.
• Flexibility and readiness to undertake business travel both within Germany and internationally as required.
