About the Role
Join the External Audit team at EY and contribute to assisting clients in meeting their reporting obligations by conducting independent and objective examinations of their financial statements. Engage in timely and constructive dialogue with management regarding accounting and reporting issues and provide insightful perspectives to audit committees.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute audit procedures with a focus on complex and specialized matters.
- Contribute to planning audit engagements, defining objectives and strategies in compliance with professional standards and risk considerations.
- Gain in-depth understanding of clients' industries, recognizing drivers of performance, business trends, and emerging technical and sector developments while maintaining strong management relationships year-round.
- Identify ways to standardize and improve assurance processes across a client portfolio.
- Track progress against audit plans and make adjustments as necessary.
- Lead by example and effectively assign tasks within the team.
- Manage a team comprising Seniors and Associates, ensuring delivery of high-quality work punctually, within budget, and compliant with EY procedures.
- Conduct timely performance evaluations, provide feedback, and facilitate training.
- Leverage technology to support continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and enhanced service delivery.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Stay updated on business and economic developments affecting clients.
- Cultivate enduring relationships and networks both internally and externally.

Qualification and Experience
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA or CPA) with approximately 5-6 years of relevant experience.
- Background as a senior auditor in a public accounting firm or specialized business/industry experience advantageous.
- Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or UK Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and auditing standards.
